Not A Good Week For Aviation.

Two days ago, April 17th, 2018, we covered a story of the first deadly commercial flight in the United States in a decade and the ex-navy pilot who calmly put a crippled aircraft down safely.

Coincidently, two days after on April 28th, 2018, a commercial Delta flight from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta to London, England ended a half an hour into the flight. The starboard engine caught fire, many passengers taking out their phones and recording what was happening.

As you’ll see in the FOX5 clip below, the pilot came on the speaker immediately and informed all the passengers the flight was going to turn around and make an emergency landing.

No injuries were reported and the FAA is investigating the incident.
