Slowly But Surely

You’ve never seen a happier group of men than these A-20 Havoc crewmen after surviving a crash.

In late 1944, this A-20 Havoc called “Fancy Pants” managed to successfully land with its wheels up in Italy.

At the start, you can see just how low and slow the pilot approached the runway. After making contact, the Havoc was still somehow stable – though it almost ran out of runway in the end!

Regardless, the Havoc finally stopped and three crewmembers came running out of the wreck.

It didn’t take long for other crewmen to investigate the crash site, as they checked for any surviving members left inside the aircraft.

In the end, we get to see the three lucky survivors of the crash – who are all smiles from ear to ear!
