Close Call

This private and HOMEMADE P-21 stunt plane was about to perform a dangerously low pass in front of the airshow crowd at Allen, Argentina. Unfortunately, the pilot was already too low as he approached the group and managed to strike his wing as he turned.

The impact flung sand and stone nearby, but nobody got hurt. 

Luckily, the whole incident only ended with a very close call. The pilot was able to recover his plane and fly up again – with seemingly no damage to its wings.

We all know how dangerous plane stunts can get. It’s one of the many reasons why air shows operate under strict safety regulations!
