Unlike Any Other

Fairchild Republic’s A-10 Thunderbolt II is one of the scariest planes in the sky. Introduced in the 1970s, the entire plane was made for one thing – blowing stuff up!

That’s because the aircraft was designed around its massive gun, the 30mm GAU-8 Avenger rotary cannon. This insane gun fires 30x173mm rounds at a mindblowing 4,200 rounds per minute!

If that wasn’t enough to deter its enemies, the A-10 can also carry up to 16,000 lbs of mixed ordnance, some of which include: 2,000-lb Mk 84 bombs, incendiary cluster bombs, and even mind-dispensing munitions!

For power, the Warthog is fitted with two General Electric TF34-GE-100 turbofan engines that allow it to have enhanced maneuverability at low speeds and a range of over 2,500 miles.

It’s also equipped with a Night Vision Imaging System – perfect for nighttime missions!

It just goes to show that no matter where you are, or what time of day it is, the A-10 Warthog can, and will, find you.
