Oshkosh AirVenture 2022 had quite a rocky start. Pilots flying that day were met with a direct crosswind gusting to 27 knots, creating a rather complicated environment for all participants.
This video shows two incidents from the event, though the uploader claims two more happened that day.
The first came from a Cessna 180 ground looping during landing. It struggled to balance itself and ultimately rolled to the right, causing the wheels to catch on fire and the ring wing to drag onto the runway.
Meanwhile, another Cessna – a 310 this time, suffered a landing gear collapse right as it landed. Unlike the other Cessna, this one dragged its right wing into the dirt!
The other two incidents apparently consisted of a Bird Dog ground loop and an RV that went nose-up on 27. What a wild day that was!
