They Stood No Chance

The A-10 Warthog has long been touted as one of the best air support aircraft in the world. In fact, it’s one of the few planes tailored for such missions on the battlefield.

During combat, the Thunderbolt uses its famous 30mm GAU-8/A Avenger rotary cannon to wreak havoc from above. This feature, in combination with its robust and sturdy airframe, makes the A-10 one of the best aircraft in the world for its role.

As you can see in the video below, the A-10 was able to decimate a Taliban getaway vehicle in just one short burst. The cannon fires depleted uranium armor-piercing shells, the perfect ammo for any armored/unarmored vehicles.
