Fighter jets don’t come cheap but they are a necessity in times of war. Due to excessive costs, some nations have been opting for light attack aircraft as an alternative. Many light aircraft have been making the rounds but a new one just popped up out of nowhere, the Calidus B-250.

Debuting without warning at the Dubai Airshow the Calidus B-250 the world’s newest light attack/trainer aircraft. This new light fighter was developed in secret by Novaer in just a little under two years.

“We have negotiations with many customers; we are very competitive, too, in terms of pricing which will surprise many when we’ll release it soon. We have full IP rights as well. We plan to build an industrial complex in Al Ain city for complete manufacturing of B-250 here locally.”

Light fighters air mainly intended for combat against militant groups that lack an air force such as ISIS. The price tag of the new B-250 has not yet been revealed but it does have an impressive arsenal.
