For some reason, every time we come across a spectacular Rc model of an American plane, it’s being flown in either Austria, Germany or Switzerland. No kidding. From the massive UH-1 Huey to a F-22 Raptor to this here F/A-18 Hornet, these guys are the best. No offense to our own domestic fliers of course. It might just be a huge coincidence, but that’s the pattern we’re seeing.

Anyway, let’s talk about this little show here. Set on the background of picturesque Swiss hills, Mr. Hans Wuhrich is the man behind the controls of this awesome F/A-18 Hornet. Although there is no bio on this gentleman, we can tell you that he’s a pretty darn good Rc pilot.

Plowing close to the pavement in front of spectators, it seemed like he flew his Rc Hornet at close to top speed before barrel rolling out and up. The flight was really smooth and controlled.
