Sure Hope So.

Once in a while life throws you something to giggle about, and this is one of those things. Even if it’s not real and the footage was purposefully made into a joke.

The Instagram channel combat_learjet has outdone themselves either with the footage or with the caption (or both), as we almost keeled over laughing. This short clip shows a jet fighter ejection seat test but things don’t go as planned. At all.

After ejection, the dummy in the seat goes up and plummets down to the ground like a rock. If it was a human, of course, you’ll be done. The kicker of this whole video is the end, when the parachute fully inflates after the chair hits the ground and kicks up a bunch of dust, covering the seat. 

Would hate to be the first guy to test this out for real.
