This is one of those videos that might hit you right in the feels. It’s pretty sentimental and tracks the story of the F-4 Phantom and the people who to this day love that aircraft.

Lt. Col. Jim “WAM” Harkins narrates this short video which was created to chronicle the last military flight of the F-4s. We’ve written about it a bunch in the past, but if you don’t know, the last F-4s are currently being converted to drones and will be used as aerial targets.

Yes, it’s exactly what you’re thinking. Soon there will be no F-4s left.

The video centers around the people who love the plane. It mentions that the folks who fought in Vietnam have a big attachment to it which is, of course, understandable. It’s the others that don’t fit the mold. You’ve got young people who weren’t even born when F-4s were retired from service who developed a special connection with this plane for many reasons.
