Ross Franquemont
The U-2, nicknamed Dragon Lady, is one incredible aircraft. First flown in 1955 and still in service today, this super slim, extremely difficult to fly and land reconnaissance aircraft is definitely one of a kind. Able to take incredibly detailed pictures from an altitude of 60,000 feet, flying one is definitely an honor and a privilege.
One man that was able to get to that status is Ross Franquemont. Not only is he a pilot of this marvelous machine, he’s also an incredible photographer. Combining his two passions, he gave us permission to share with you, our readers, his latest work.
If you’d like to order large-scale prints of Ross’ pictures, got to his website here. They’re truly stunning.
Here is some of his work we’ve handpicked to inspire you.
As a bonus, here’s Ross’ actual flight which he recorded using a GoPro camera.
