An Amazon cargo plane just tragically crashed, killing all three of its passengers. Atlas Air Flight 3591 had been traveling from Miami to Bush Intercontinental Airport when something went wrong, causing the plane to nose dive into the shallows of Trinity Bay near Houston, Texas.

Chunks of the plane were visible as crews in helicopters and airboats circled the muddy terrain. The remains of first officer Conrad Aska, 44, and passenger Sean Archuleta, 36, have been recovered, but the search is still on for Captain Rick Blakely.

Also missing is the black box, which could offer clues as to what went wrong with recorded flight data and voices in the cockpit.

The sheriff’s office has released a video of the wreckage but the U.S National Transportation Safety Board did also manage to get a five second security footage clip from a nearby jail that shows the crash. There was no distress call from the pilot.

“The aircraft is in the video as it’s descending in a steep descent, a steep nose down attitude.”   -Robert Sumwalt, U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).

Atlas Air Worldwide has responded by working closely with the NTSB, the FAA, and local authorities. They have also established a support system for the families of the three crash victims.
