Blue Angel #6 Performs One Of The Most Thundering Takeoffs Over Water

I’d Sit There All Day.

Seriously, if given the chance, I’d pull up one of those folding chairs and sit on the end of that runway all day. I’d bring some serious ear protection of course, as it would be possible to go deaf from a day of doing that. Point is, it would be almost impossible to get tired of that sight and sound.

Don’t you agree? 

We here at Frontline have been to a bunch of airshows, including a couple of Blue Angel shows in Miramar, California, and “yes”, it was one of the most incredible experiences we’ve ever had. We’ve even seen the Red Arrows. 

Although that’s all well and good, sitting mere feet from a Blue Angel solo would be a whole different experience. You’d actually feel that thrust in your chest and could smell taste the exhaust. 

Maybe we’re a bit freaky when it comes to planes, but whatever. We love what we love and would love to have been there. Now go watch this sick takeoff.
