Scary Moments For Passengers

The witness on the ground, actually several witnesses, captured some footage of a southwest airline flight right engine under the wing, spit out fire. The flight was going from Houston all the way to Cancun and had to return to Hobby Airport and make an emergency landing.

It is not clear what cause the engine to burst into flames, but reports are saying it may be a potential mechanical issue.

307, you still have one engine shutdown, is that correct?

The good thing is that the jet landed safely, and taken out of service to find out what went wrong.
