On May 2nd, 2018, we covered a story of a C-130 that nosedived while flying over Georgia, crashing into the median of a local highway. No people were injured on the ground, however, all 9 souls in the aircraft perished in the crash.

“It just fell out of the sky and it’s on fire right now.” – Eyewitness account

After a few days of gathering camera footage from various local businesses with a view of the crash, the local police department released not only the footage of the crash (for investigative purposes) but also some of the phone calls that poured in when the aircraft crashed.

ABC News did a story on those calls, showing how quickly and valiantly some of the callers acted when faced with such a horrific scene. Some cried as you can imagine, but others were quick to tell the police where, when and what they saw so emergency services could respond appropriately.
