Gyms and Grocery Stores

As you might have expected, these ships have huge gym areas so the crew can stay in shape while at sea. What you might not expect is the presence of grocery stores. Retail managers are included in the ship to manage stores. The proceeds from the stores would then go to funding activities to boost the crew’s morale.

Dining Facilities

Huge dining facilities are used to accommodate more than 4,000 people on board. On an average day, these cafeterias would need to make around 15,000 freshly-prepared meals. Aircraft carriers would have to spend $65,000 per day on their upkeep.

General Assessments

Operating such a massive ship brings enormous responsibilities as well. General assessments are used to train these men in day-to-day activities and emergencies. These activities can range from ship maintenance to performing first aid procedures. Moreover, these are done to minimize accidents, injuries, or illnesses from happening on board.
